GARNIER OVERNIGHT PEELING CREAM

I am not a huge fan of garnier products as they never seem to work for me. But I love the smell of all their products :). So, when I saw this small bottle with the interesting "peeling away dead skin overnight" concept on it....I had to give this a try.

This small tub claims to work at fading spots and lightening the skin tone in a matter of one month. I was looking for a night cream and I saw this small tub(I bought the smaller tub as I wanted to try it out first before committing myself to the big bottle)in a supermarket and I bought to try it out. Its been a month now and I think I can give an honest opinion .

 Pros:-
Its a light creamy night time moisturiser
Suitable for oily skinned people
Its hydrating and gives smooth skin the next morning
Love the smell
Eventhough its marketed as a peeling cream, its very gentle and I did not experience any sensitivity issues
Easily available in all the stores
The small tub that I have will last for 2 months with continuous usage and costs only 89 rs/-

 Cons:-
well, I did not see any spots fading..... :(

Overall its a good night cream but if you really need a good peeling cream, then look elsewhere as it does nothing to fade the spots or even out the skintone.

I had used their day cream. Bad bad bad. The worst product I have ever used. This one sounds nice. I so love the Himalaya. give it a try. Full value for money

I've never heard of this before. I wonder if it's available in the UK. I'm like you I don't really get on with their products but I do like the smell.

What exactly is it meant to be peeling?? Sorry if that is a stupid question. Do you wake up with skin on your pillow?

@skin scrubs:- no ur question is very genuine. they do market it as a peeling cream, but i have not seen any skin cells coming off(as u might find with harsh chemical skin peelers). I think these provide gentle exfoliation to the skin and "claims" to even out ur skintone through this process. Most ppl would be afraid to try "chemical peeling" and, for them, this is a good option. but....i am saying again and again that this didn't work for me at all. I am not sure whether this will be available in uk, as I think its marketed more towards the asian community. Maybe u can get it online. good luck :)
