Time and time again I end up buying new foundation and they tend to sit in my cupboard gathering dust or they see light when there are some ultra special functions or when I am doing an Fotd for my blog. I am not a foundation person, I don't like the made up look that foundations invariable give and people can most definitely say that someone is wearing "MAKEUP".....which I hate. I tried using some tinted moisturisers to even out my skintone but the Pond's TM that my fellow bloggers are raving about.....I can't find one in my color (I am nc43-45) and they tend to make me look greasy. To top it off I live where the temperature is b/w 35-40 degree celcius all year around.....so plz do count in the humidity and sweating. Taking all this into account....do I want makeup on my face???????? oh lord NO!
But that has changed since I found 2 of my HG stuff. Now I always wear a foundation which behaves more like a TM (I don't need much coverage as I don't have spots to cover) and i am in love with my skindinavia makeup finish spray that holds my makeup PUT for hours together in this unforgiving heat that I am in. Will review about the finishing spray later as it requires a post by itself. So lemme talk about my HG LANCOME TEINT IDOLE SILKY MAT FOUNDATION. I use the shade 05.

Pros:-
Now i wear this foundation whenever I step out, it gives my skin an even look
Has spf 16 in it
Is perfect for oily skinned people as the foundation is very very runny
A little goes a long way
Gives the skin "breathable" look
Perfect for people loving in hot & humid areas
Great for daytime & office wear
Comes in a 30 ml hygienic tube
No sensitivity issues so far
Cons:-
One has to use fingers to blend the product in
(the brush seems to suck in all the product)
Very costly Rs 2700/- for a 30 ml product
Does not give heavy coverage, will have to use concealer underneath for that purpose.
Only available at Lancome stores
Claims to be oil free for 18 hrs.... well, thats not true.It does control the oil to some extent thats all.
Some people complain about the foundation oxidising on 'em but I didn't face the problem. Maybe coz i use my makeup finishing spray to set the makeup.
Overall, I would definitely repurchase this as I found my HG everyday foundation with the TM effect which gives me a very fresh look. I love this!!!!!

that's awesome. so great that you found a foundation that works more like a tinted moisturizer. i have a foundation but i haven't used in months. i use a boots no.7 tinted moisturizer instead and it's so much better. doesn't make your face look like you have makeup on, and it works well in the heat too.
