 I have been using the Natures essence tan clear for so long that I needed a change. I was browsing through an online website and came across this and I instantly purchased this as I wanted a new anti tan pack and I had not yet tried the "Just Herbs" brand.

 I love the packaging. Its a really cute plastic tub with a golden screw cap.

 I have used up quite a bit in the past 3 weeks and the consistency of the mask is really nice.

Pros:-

Great anti-tan pack. Removed my tan really well in just one use and even Mr.Hubby commented that my face looks bright after using this. He never notices things so because he noticed it, I think this does a pretty good job

It has a very pleasant rose smell but also a bit verging towards the herbal side

Left my face really smooth and glowing

Sucked the oil out of my oily face like a dream

The effect lasts, provided you prevent further tanning by using proper sunscreen

Has a shelf life of 3 yrs

It has bentonite & Indian volcanic clay so its good for oily skin

Its a really thick cream and goes on real smooth

I have not had any sensitivity issues with this mask

The tub has 150gms of product in it

Animal cruelty free product

It is an ayurvedic product

Cons:-

Availability is an issue as I have seen this brand only online

This clay based anti tan pack can be a life saver for oily skin but I don't know about other skin types. I have super oily face and when I used this three times in a row my face became super dry and I had to lay off this mask for a week. It did not make my face flaky or anything but I do have my doubts as to how it would suit extremely dry skin. Maybe moisturising afterwards might do the trick.


 Recommend:- Oh yes! All oily skinned ladies should give this a try as it would be a 2 in 1 product as it removes tan and oil from the face

REMEDY FOR OILY SKIN!!!!

 I have extremely oily skin and the tip that I am going to share with you today is NOT something I use "every day". I use it for special days & functions when I want my face to remain oil free and matte :).  So, the product is MILK OF MAGNESIA!!!! I know, I know I am a doctor and I know for what purpose it is used but it does wonders for oily & combination skin!

 Consistency:- Its a thick white liquid which is a bit sticky and has tiny particles in it.

How do I use it:- I use it by putting a thin layer all over my face and then washing it off after it is dry/semi-dry.I follow it up with my routine facial products.

What I don't do:- I never put a thin layer underneath my makeup as some people do to control the oil. It might control the oil but in the long run it will clog your pores.

Why can't I use it everyday as a simple remedy?:- That is a good question. I have tried it like that and why I don't do it like that now is because of two reasons.

1) It might make your skin more oily after 2-3 weeks as you are tricking your skin into controlling the oil production, the skin might get confused and will end up producing double the amount of oil which is never pretty :D

2) Constant & every day use can do more harm as it can produce dry patches and flakes on the skin which is also another reason why nobody should use it daily

How long does it control the shine?:- It controls shine for atleast 6-7 hours. But please make sure that the products that you are applying after the MOM mask is oil free and that includes an oil free foundation too.

Do I recommend:- Yes I do. But, please make sure that you do an allergy test before using this.

DIOR SNOW SUNSCREEN

 I have extremely oily skin so it has been a lifelong quest for me to find the "perfect" sunscreen that doesn't make my face extra sticky and greasy. Thinking back, I have spent a lot of money trying to find that "elusive" sunscreen and I am happy to finally announce that I have finally found it!!!! Anyone who has excess oil production on their face knows for one fact that oily skin gets oxidised pretty easily even without makeup and finally ends up looking dark and dull. Its very important to have sunscreen on to prevent tanning and  hyperpigmentation, but, it was always at the cost of leaving my face an oil slick!NOT ANYMORE!!!! Introducing......... CHRISTIAN DIOR -DIORSNOW SUNSCREEN SPF 50 TRANSLUCENT.

 This is just a sample size of 10 ml and the original tube comes in 30ml. I will explain as to why I have a sample size and not the full size. I first heard about this sunscreen from a blogger and I did my own research and I found that this particular sunscreen has excellent reviews. I decided to purchase it for myself but I was in for a surprise..........One tube of this lil fellow costs about 3000 rupees(30 ml tube, full size). I was aghast! That much money for a sunscreen..........thats just madness. I then searched a bit and finally found sample sizes on ebay and decided to give the sample a try. It cost me 600 rs including shipping to try this sample size, but believe me its sooooooooo worth it! I used it for around 3 weeks and understood that this is the HG sunscreen for my skin, and still I was in a dilemma.....its simply B***S*** to spend this much money on a single sunscreen and so I figured a way out. The seller from whom I had purchased the sample had a sale of dior products with the sample sizes of this sunscreen and I got myself  3 samples, 10 ml each and I paid a total of 1200 rs including shipping! How cool is that huh....

 I haven't even opened the above samples yet as the one that I have opened is still going strong.

 The opening  is just large enough to provide the right amount when you squeeze the product out.

 One needs only this much amount for the entire face.

Now lets move on to the pros and cons

Pro:-
-Excellent sunscreen for ladies with oily and extremely oily skin
-Will not leave a greasy look on the face
-Gives a matte finish and for me it kind of makes my skintone a bit even, No idea as to how this product does this, but it sure does!
-No freaky white cast
-No excessive sweating when you put the sunscreen on(some sunscreens makes me sweat a lot.....quite       odd...I know)
-No unpleasant smell
-Spf 50 and it gives really good protection
-A little bit is needed for the whole face, so the tube lasts for a long long time
-Keeps my face looking fresh for atleast 4-5 hrs and after that I have to blot a bit....but no excess oil production is seen
-Helps my face to remain fresh and prevents darkening due to the oil production
-The texture of the cream is a bit sticky but it gets absorbed real fast
-I have had no sensitivity issues so far

 Cons:-
 Available only at Dior counters and online
Price might be a HUGE turn off for some


Recommend:- I DO! I DO! I DO! (sounds like a wedding lol). Do give this a try if you have the money to spare and suffer from oily skin like myself. Its really excellent!!!

Repurchase:- HELL YEAH!!!!!

Some say oily skin is a blessing as it slows down the ageing process......but moi..........doesn't think so at all!!!!!!!! You have to have super oily skin that doesn't behave at all to understand my woe.Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising has become a daily routine for me and i try my level best to keep my oilies at bay.

Due to the extra oily skin that i have toning is a must for me and toners.......hell ya......i go through those bottles like crazy. Today i will be reviewing Body shop "TEA TREE TONER". Everyone knows that tea tree oil has amazing benefits for oily skin and i have in the past tried their tea tree face wash(did not do anything great for me)....but the product junkie that i am....the next time i visited the shop i got my hands on that fat bottle of toner



























Its touted as a skin clearing toner and is for oily and blemish prone skin. I don't have many blemishes.....but i do have the oilies.....

A very pungent (tea tree oil smell) smell comes out of it when i dispense it out to a cotton pad. It stings a bit when i apply it on to my face but its not unbearable. It takes out any remaining dirt present on ur face and you can actually see it on the cotton pad. Don't forget to shake the bottle before use 'coz it has a tendency to form sediments at the bottom. Pros:-

Doesn't dry my skin out excessively

Big bottle....will last for a long time

I have not had any reaction to it

Cons:-

Hate the smell

Well.......it didn't live up to my expectation of keeping the oilies at bay

Not mattifying enough

overall ......i will just use up the existing bottle but am not going to repurchase it
