Here goes:-
If you ever meet me in person straight away you will think that I am reserved and that I throw my weight around. Its not true, it takes time for me to warm up to people thats all......
I recently started a new blog. Click HERE to go there if you want to. That's the kind of blog that I wanted to start in the first place, not that am complaining, its just that I love writing and if I had not become a doctor, I would have become a writer!
I am NOT the adventerous type. I hate trekking, snorkeling, scuba diving and all that and never could understand why people like it so much.
I love watching foreign films and I am a movie buff. I can watch any number of movies back to back.
I am a doctor, but I don't want to treat....sounds funny huh......its just that I feel immensely sad when the patient I looked after so well, slips away right infront of my eyes, its a horrible feeling, its as though you are fighting with god himself! So, I plan to take a pg that is para clinical and that would be "Radiology"
I love using colored contacts. I already have 3 of 'em and I plan to add many many many more.
I am a "south indian" and I really and truly hate the derogatory terms being used like "kaala madrasi", and for mostly all northies, all south Indians are "madrasees" and oh ya making fun of the way we talk hindi.....atleast we try yaar, I would love to see all the northies try to speak malayalam, tamil or telugu anyday! (plz, am not trying to offend any of my north Indian blogger friends here, its just that I was in mumbai and I did face some bias as far as my cultural background is concerned. As this is a beauty blog, I would love to innumerate one scenario, whenever I go to some big counters for foundation consultation they immediately tell me, no foundation for your "color" madam, u r a southie na......This came from a person when I asked him whether lancome foundation was available in my shade and for your information its available and my shade is 05. For crying out loud am mac shade nc 43-45!!!!) WTF!!!!.
Let me share a small excerpt from the movie Chak De, where hockey players are coming for registration....
Registrar:-Name
Player:-Nethra Reddy
Registrar:-Are you a madrasi.......
Player:-Telugu
Registrar:-Tamil
Player:- Not Tamilian, Telugu
Registrar:- yup thats it, there is not much difference between Tamil & Telugu rt.........
Player:- (Retorts back) ya, not much, just the way as in a punjabi and bihari
Registrar:- *shocked* (in a good way) OK.......
This is what I am talking about, let the old generation be, lets take our generation and please don't be biased and think that all Southies are madrasis and they speak hindi in the "Chathur Naar Badi Hoshiyaar" way :)
Hey please guys, the above comment was heartfelt and please no bad feelings. I feel that we are all INDIANS first and then comes the regional division and most of all we are humans for gods sake!
Let me present this award to all you new bloggers out there, please feel free to take this award as you all deserve it and all you guys are doing an absolute fantastic job!
